Tried inventory>options> helmet /face-wear and nothing happens. leave it in a helmet to show, but if the clothes don’t have it, it doesn’t appear. leave it in face-wear if you want to show off the costume helmet or if you don’t have one to hide the set helmet.

I’m not sure if you can have your original costume back, I think you can though… it should all be in the styles tab on the start/escape menu. Just select helmet/cape and there should be an option for none. I think you can wear any piece of gear for the looks you’ve ever found as long as you equipped it at some point.
