However, minecraft does seem to know about it. If I click on “settings” instead of “play game”, click on “storage”, and then look under “Worlds”, I do see the world I just created on the xbox one S. My only option at that point though is to delete the world.

In the original example I used a Win 7 pc going to a Win 10 laptop. The laptop no longer has Minecraft, so I can’t test it again. It may be possible that the saves folder doesn’t appear until a world is made, so if you don’t have any worlds on the new computer, you could try to make one and see if the folder pops up after that.
