you actually need to update to the new client apparently. then you can either disable it ingame or through the little options tab. I have the new client, have the filter disabled and everything is still censored. I haven’t tried the fix above, though.

Currently, in Battlefield 5, the “profanity” filter has gotten too aggressive to the point it censors words beyond profanity and almost every sentence is an asterisk.
